How do I look?

I’ve decided I need a change on this blog, perhaps something a touch more professional, so I’ve begun using a theme that’s a bit less colourful, a bit more minimalist, and so on.

I have to tinker a little bit with the css stylesheets to get it displaying how I like, so ignore little things like the fact that the favicon is now different, or that the gravatars show up twice in comments. I’ll get to those soon.

Let me know what you think, as this is by no means permanent. In fact, here’s a poll. Should I keep this new theme or stick with the old one?

I like very much the color scheme. It works well with the simple design. Perhaps adding the header photography above the fade/shadow bar would help balance the top of the page which is currently a little abrupt above the header text.

But again, the colours work very nicely.
