		<description>Many remote communities used to broadcast whatever they wanted locally through BRACS.  This led to the establishment of ICTV which broadcast heaps of community-produced, Aboriginal language programs through much of remote Australia.  Your hope of what may happen in a few years actually used to be a reality, but the establishment of NITV coincided with ICTV&#039;s demise. 

I&#039;ll be interested to hear what you reckon of NITV.  imho, there&#039;s very little in there of relevance to remote Australia and/or Indigenous language speakers.

I don&#039;t know why the govt doesn&#039;t fund both ICTV anymore.</description>
