Terra Cresta, Alejna, was a game from about the mid-80s. It’s roughly the same as a Capcom game called Raiden. It’s basically a really early shoot-em-up game, where you’re in a little spaceship, picking up better weapons and shooting enemies. Not a great deal of skill involved.

This machine, however, will have heaps and heaps of games from that arcade era. That’s the beauty of using a modern computer with an emulator.

MrsChili, you’ve got too much politics happening on your side of the globe to bother about ours.

Wamut, I know you’re not obsolete yet! You keep yourself alive by commenting all over the place. But that facebook will hurt things. I’ve been playing scrabulous way too much!

Gardi, if you’re becoming obsolete then what am I? Poor me.

I have noticed though, that facebooking has had an impact on my blogging. Facebooking is to blogging as eating Red Rooster for lunch is to going home and making yourself a nice sandwich or salad.

I’ve been eating far too much Red Rooster lately.

I don’t find you obsolete. Not in the least. Incomprehensible sometimes, maybe, but that’s just my failure to keep up with the politics of your part of the world.

Thanks for all those updates. How aggravating that the new administration is proving so disappointing.

I’m glad to hear you’re woking on the dictionary. That sounds like an interesting project.

And I’m curious about the arcade game. (The antique. Hee, hee.) I have no idea what Terra Cresta is. Is that a manufacturer? Or the name of some very obscure game? (I don’t really think it’s a game. What game(s) does your new toy have?)
