She's sometimes known as "the queen of speech errors." Not because she makes a lot of them, but because she has been collecting them relentlessly for many years. She's quite interested in the errors that involve an exchange of features. Yours is a particularly funny one. Would you be willing to share the whos and whens of it? I'm also partial to spoonerisms, myself. I read a chapter on Spooner in some textbook or another when I was in 5th grade or so, and was quite taken with it. I still like to say "Mardon me padam, this pie is occupewed. May I sew you to a sheet?" A friend of mine apparently once got in trouble at the dinner table for inadvertently saying "if the fu shits."
