Yeah you're probably right about him leaning left in his older years, which is a nice thought since I always thought the general rule was that people became more conservative with age. Still, there's plenty of conservative back-benchers in the Libs who were demanding Hicks' release , so I don't think it's really a left-right issue in that sense. Ha ha shame on me.
