The name of this blog is terrible. It was the result of probably less than one minute of creative thought. So, I’d like to solicit your help in coming up with a better name, which, of course, will not be difficult.
Please give me your suggestions!

When it comes to sourcing words or phrases from another language/culture (as wamut and I have done), I also like the discourse-particle version of ‘lexical gaps’. Like ma(h), for example.
Pretty soon they infiltrate an outsider’s speech (note how many Kriol discourse particles get used in NT English).

Well, I only know a bit of Kriol and it aint exactly PG rated, Gajinga!
I’m pretty sure my times in the field were quite bereft of any profundities, to be honest, but it’s a good idea nonetheless. I’ll think harder!

‘Aidhoss’ will stay, that’s the address of the site and my WordPress username, but ‘Hosstuff’ has got to go.
‘Aidhoss’ is just a clipping of my name with what we (my brothers and I) considered to be some stereotypical final syllable of names from the Conan context (we very much liked the Conan series). It’s also possibly a lenition of ‘Hot’.
‘Jaŋari-a-Trois’? Hmm, not bad. It assumes a little, and I have no connection to French, but not bad nonetheless.
